Farm Goods

Riversdell Goat's Milk Soap, $2 per bar.
This is a long-lasting, hand-made soap. We use our fresh goat's milk as a moisturizer (it's one of nature's best!), and add essential oils for a light, pleasant scent.

Riversdell Mead Vinegar, $9 per bottle.
Naturally fermented from farm-brewed mead (honey wine), this crisp vinegar is slightly sweet and will mellow with age if stored in a cool place. The esters formed in aging, like those of wine, develop after a period of six months or more. This vinegar is heat-pasteurized after fermentation and contains no sulfites.

Naturally brewed vinegars have a complexity not present in their manufactured counterparts. In Italy, vinegars are sipped and appreciated the way wines, their precursors, are. They have a deep, rich flavor, and can be made from various sources including grapes, other fruits, and honey.

Eggs

We offer brown chicken eggs and white duck eggs. Our flocks free-range on our pastures to forage the bulk of their diet; they are never fed hormones or antibiotics. Click here for more information on our eggs.

Goats

Our dairy goat herd is primarily Toggenburg, but we also have various crosses with Saanen, Nubian, and Alpine goat breeds. Our herd produces 15 - 20 kids for sale each summer.

Poultry, Peeps, and Fertile Eggs

Upon request we can provide fertile duck or chicken eggs for customers who want to incubate them.

We also occasionally have older laying hens and incubated peeps for sale as well.

Sheep

We used to raise Katahdin sheep but no longer keep sheep.

We are concentrating our efforts on our dairy goat operation.
